the nation's top 5,000 fastest-growing private companies.
The top 500 fastest-growing private companies will be
featured in the September issue of Inc. At least two midstate firms made the top-500
list: Nxtbook Media and GetMyHomesValue.com.
Lancaster-based Nxtbook Media ranked 303rd on the list. The
digital-publishing company increased its revenue from $446,853 in 2004 to $4.6
million in 2007, according to Inc. Magazine. The company also ranked 38th on
the magazine's top 100 business-services companies.
GetMyHomesValue.com -- based in East
Hempfield Township,
Lancaster County -- ranked 386th on the list. The real estate-marketing
firm grew its revenue from $339,575 in 2004 to $3 million in 2007, according to
Inc. The company ranked 16th on the magazine's top-50 real estate companies.
Other midstate companies that made the top-5,000 list
include Dauphin County-based Arcus (No. 1,688), York County-based McClarin
Plastics Inc. (No. 1,828) and Cumberland County-based
