This prestigious event honors Central Pennsylvania's most dynamic for-profit businesses and their contributions to the growth and success of our region. Qualifying companies are ranked according to their revenue growth (both dollar and percentage increases) over a consecutive three-year period. The final list of fifty companies are featured in a supplement to the Central Penn Business Journal and are honored at an awards breakfast. The Top Fifty Fastest growing Companies program provides a great opportunity to get a close-up look at the businesses shaping the future of our local economy.
The awards breakfast will also feature Peter Smith, II, chief executive officer of Harrisburg-based New World Pasta, as the keynote speaker. Smith will share the renowned food manufacturer's story of declaring bankruptcy resulting from a "perfect storm" of corporate, financial and societal situations in the early 2000s.
