This is the second straight record-breaking month for MABX project reporting. The association reported 1,291 projects in January.

MABX saw 444 civic, 295 educational and 124 Department of Transportation projects added to the plan room last month.

"So far, 2013 has been a positive year for most construction segments," said Chad Harvey, MABX's executive director. "Not only are we experiencing increased projects numbers, we're seeing high-quality projects of varying size and scope.

MABX tracks projects in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
