The winery is wrapping up a 12,000-square-foot building that will be used for wine production and entertaining space. Every Friday evening from May through September, the second-year winery will offer live music and signature wines, plus tapas by Camp Hill-based The JDK Group.
JDK is the vineyard's catering partner.
"It gives people locally an opportunity to do something, to have some fun," said George Nahodil, Members 1st's executive vice president. "I didn't even know there were wineries beyond Nissley (Vineyards and Winery Estate)."
The vineyard and other members of Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country should help keep local dollars in Central Pennsylvania, while attracting others from outside the region, Nahodil said.
