The building at 2010 Pennsylvania Ave. in York was first occupied by HACC when it opened the location in York County several years ago, said Jean Treuthart, campus vice president.
The price and the deal it offered for the property it previously leased turned out to be a good investment for HACC as it continues to grow in York County, Treuthart said.
The price was about $14.6 million, according to HACC.
The building was named for former Gov. George Leader, who donated to help develop the campus, she said.
The college acquired other property in the vicinity in York County and previously paid to improve parking at the Leader Building, Treuthart said.
