"The center will provide Hair Direct's customers living in the EU access to the company's full line of accessory products at a much lower shipping cost" and without any custom or duty fees, the company said in a news release. The center took a year to develop and cost about $400,000.
Hair Direct has more than 5,200 EU customers and said the United Kingdom is one of its fastest-growing markets. UPS and Post NL are partnering with Hair Direct on this endeavor, the company said.
Plans to ship hair from the new center are under development.
