Last month, owner Doug Gellatly acquired the property at 1810 Lambs Gap Road in Hampden Township.

Gellatly has been in the pet care business for about a decade. He started Greenlin on his 40-acre farm adjacent to Route 283 in Londonderry Township.

Greenlin also operates a site in Monroe Township, a former shelter run by the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area.

The company's facilities combined to service about 18,000 overnight pet stays last year and another 3,500 day care visits.
