The northern Dauphin County bank has bought Hoppes Financial Services, based in Orwigsburg, and has named its owner, Terry Hoppes, to its senior management team, according to a news release.

Hoppes, a former community bank CEO, sells stock through registered broker/dealer LPL Securities, Riverview said.

Hoppes said that the transition will be seamless for existing clients and that he plans to offer retail investment services through Riverview's branch network.

Riverview, a subsidiary of Riverview Financial Corp., operates Riverview, Marysville and Halifax bank branches.
