More than 150 students from Lancaster and York county schools will display their artwork in the 11th annual Art in a Box Exhibition.

The artwork was created by students who participated in Demuth Museum’s innovative art education program, Art in a Box kits, during the school year. The kits, which contain project plans and resources that can be used with all grade levels, are designed as a free interactive classroom tool for area art teachers. They introduce students to the life and art of American modernist and Lancaster native Charles Demuth through the exploration of five different themes: architecture, portraiture, art from poetry, art from life and illustration.

The museum is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
