In brief: Lobar general contractor for $4.8M environmental center

York County-based Lobar Inc. is the general contractor on a $4.8 million project to build a new Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center in Northampton County.


State and local officials broke ground on the project last month, according to the release from the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Construction of the new 9,300-square-foot center is scheduled for completion by August 2013, the release stated.
