First National Bank of Pennsylvania will open its Harrisburg regional office officially with a ribbon-cutting on Oct. 15.

The FNB office occupies two floors at 409 N. Second St., offering business and consumer banking as well as wealth management, insurance and other financial services, spokeswoman Kathy Hammons said. The staff numbers about 40.

The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. and features state Treasurer Rob McCord as guest speaker. FNB plans additional promotional events through the week.

FNB, based in Hermitage, has $11.5 billion in assets and nearly 300 branches, mostly in northern and western Pennsylvania. It has existing branches in Dauphin, Cumberland and York counties.

Shares of its holding company, F.N.B. Corp., trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FNB.
