Erdman Anthony names Cumberland County exec CEO
Jim T. Ryan
Helman has worked for Erdman Anthony for 20 years, the past 13 years as senior vice president of its Construction Services Support Division, growing it into the firm’s largest group, according to the company.
The promotion is part of a multiyear leadership transition because Erdman Anthony’s former CEO Russell Bullock plans to retire in 2013, the company said. Bullock will remain board chairman at the company.
Helman was named president of the company in November 2011 as part of the transition. He will maintain offices in Cumberland County and in Rochester, according to the company.
Erdman Anthony, which has its Central Pennsylvania location at 1 Sterling Place in Silver Spring Township, employs about 130 people in the midstate.
Transportation infrastructure is a large part of Erdman Anthony’s business. In 2011, the company’s midstate location posted revenue of $21.6 million, or about 58 percent of its total revenue, according to Business Journal records. Local revenue increased 40 percent from 2010.
