Philadelphia Mixing Solutions Ltd., based in Palmyra, Lebanon County, designs and sells fluid mixing equipment for a wide variety of applications. It is one of 12 companies showcased in the show's Pennsylvania Pavilion, put together by the state Department of Community and Economic Development.
More than 60,000 participants from 95 countries will attend the show, as will more than 2,000 exhibiting companies, the DCED said.
This year, the show is introducing the International Energy Marketplace, which includes workshops designed to match energy companies to new exploration and production opportunities. DCED's Canada representative, Jason Rose, will give a two-hour presentation on Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale natural-gas industry.
"This event is a great opportunity for Pennsylvania and Canadian companies seeking new technologies and partnerships in our respective markets," DCED Secretary C. Alan Walker said.
Philadelphia Mixing Solutions participated this spring in Gov. Tom Corbett's trade mission to France and Germany, also organized by DCED.
