Under the arrangement, Constellation will offer MASCPA members a variety of products and services, including load response contracts and packages that bundle efficiency upgrades with energy purchases, the Baltimore-based power company said in a statement.
The deal will give MASCPA members a way to manage energy price risk, executive director Michael Smeltzer said in a statement.
Constellation serves customers in the PECO, Met-Ed, Penelec, Allegheny Power and PPL service territories. Chicago-based Exelon Corp. completed its acquisition of Constellation in March.
