Although Wagman has done piling and foundation work, Earth Support Division will bring new products, services and expertise to the company's work in building earthen wall systems, said Lisa Wagman Glezer, a Wagman spokeswoman.

The company is not releasing the acquisition price, she said.

Earth Support Division provides design and construction services for temporary and permanent wall systems in the commercial, industrial and transportation markets.

The division and its 10 employees will be added to Wagman's Geotechnical Construction Services Group that was created last year. In December, Wagman opened a regional office in North Carolina to support such work in the southern states.
