YAVarsity.com, a Web site that covers high school sports in York and Adams counties, has partnered with New York City technology company SharedBook Inc.

The new partnership will allow YAVarsity users to collect their favorite high school sports stats, news and photos from the Web site into a print book, said Rick Holberg, YAVarsity’s business manager.

The books will cost $30 for a 20-page soft-cover edition and $40 for hardcover, according to SharedBook. YAVarsity does not charge for use of its site, but photograph-download packages cost between $5 and $50. The latter gives users 65 downloads that never expire.

SharedBook specializes in reverse publishing, the business of converting electronic media into print.

YAVarsity is a division of Hotshots Media Group, based in Spring Garden Township, York County.
