York Area Labor Management Council invites YALMC members and non-members to attend its Annual Healthcare Symposium: The Essentials to know about the Affordable Care Act on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

The Symposium will be led by David Vassilaros, Director, Health Care Reform & Regulatory Affairs, Capital BlueCross and Kevin Krause, Principal, COO & Executive Consultant, AIA Benefits Resource Group. Their presentation will include a timeline illustration for phasing-in the AHA’s required coverage, will explain the consequences and penalties for noncompliance, and will use case scenario situations to understand the cost implications for utilizing the newly formed insurance exchange, an option sometimes referred to as the pay-or-play aspect of the AHA. Afterwards, our presenters will be available for a question-and-answer session.
